KML implements Mazak turn-mill centre
Further expansion of the service range and added value
With the acquisition of the multi-tasking-machine Mazak Integrex KML Precision Machining GmbH again widens its service range. The repeated expansion of the
machine park goes hand in hand with a massive increase in productivity. Production parts which require turning as well as milling operations can be manufactured in one setting – from raw material to finished workpieces. Such complex parts can now be produced time-optimized and even more efficiently, which is directly noticeable by the customers.
The programming of parts, also for this machining centre, is done centrally with the established CAD/CAM system. Also further KML quality features flowed into the implementation of the turn-mill centre:
- cooling of the ball screws
- spindle cooling
- floating foundation
- glass scale
- etc.
As all other machines of KML, the Integrex is equipped with a large-dimensioned coolant temperature control and a filter system (paper belt filter). Therefore middle- and large-scale series can be produced with an even higher process reliability.
The Integrex is a compact-machine made for the manufacturing of large workpieces. It offers a machining diameter of max. Ø500 mm and a machining length of max. 1500 mm.
