Linear Motion Components
Components and machine parts for guiding tasks in almost all modern manufacturing facilities round out the wide product range of KML. Examples include ballscrews, spindle axes, belt axes, linear modules, ballbushings and linear actuators.
Linearmodules
LineTech linearmodules are ready to be installed linear positioning systems with different drive types. The modules are built from extruded aluminium base plate profiles, linear ways with two casings (LM3 - LM5) or roller ways with three or alternative six rollers (RM3 - RM4).

Compact Units
LineTech compact units are modularly designed, ready-to-install linear axes with spindle drive and parallel guiding. Sealed guide elements in all sizes are employed. Rolled ball screws are primarily used as drive units. Also ground ball screws can be put to use standardized.

Positioning Systems
LineTech positioning systems, built after a modular construction system, are excellent suited for applications with higher precision and performance requirements due to their constructional characteristics.

Bridge modules
The LineTech bridge modules were developed especially for cross-beam applications at portal systems and portal constructions. The structure is designed for the highest rigidity for large spans and consists of a massive extruded base profile as well as a modular side profile. Preferred drives are different types of ballscrews or tooth belts.

Precision Positioning Tables
IKO precision positioning tables are compact and flat designed positioning tables with one or more slide units, which is guided in an U-shaped steel linear way.

Compact units with belt drive
The very compact linear axes with pre-loaded tooth belt drive and two parallel integrated ball rail guiding systems are nearly maintenance-free.

Linear modules with omega drive
Linear modules with omega drive have an all-round tooth belt drive and integrated linear ways. The tooth belt itself runs through the whole module and is redirected through tooth pulleys.

ECO-axes
The cost-efficient high-performance eco linear units have a tooth belt drive and an integrated linear way for all linear movements.

Linear Actuators
Basically linear actuators can be distinguished by their design –linear actuators with an integrated and an external mounted motor.
KML provides servoelectric linear actuators for every application – from simple positioning tasks up to complete with precise positioning.

Linearmotors
The principle of the linear motor was developed from the structure of the revolving electrical servomotors. Simplified: alongside the rotary axis sliced and unfolded. The new design contains an ironless or ironcore winding slide (primary part) and the secondary parts in which the magnets are arranged.

AC Servomotors
The structure principle of a servo motor complies to a permanent-field synchronous motor. The three-phases for sinusoidal commutation rated stator winding enables an excellent efficiency over the entire speed range contemporaneously with optimal smooth running characteristics.

Servo drives
Servo drives of the SERVOSTAR series contain the experience of many years of the development- and application-engineers with digital servo technique and field bus systems. These servo drives supply maximum performance on smallest space and for minimized costs.

Ballscrews
Ballscrews are mechanical components for the conversion of rotating motion to linear motion and vice versa. This conversion is made possible by rolling balls, which are arranged in precision grooves between a screwed shaft and nut.

Rollerscrews
As rolling elements threaded rolls between the threaded shaft and the nut are arranged instead of balls (as in conventional ballscrews). By the high number of contacts between rolls and races, rollerscrews are up to 15 times higher loadable than conventional ballscrews.

Ballbushings
Ballbushings are mechanical components for low friction and stick-slip-free linear guiding systems. They work for many years in the field use, even under most difficult conditions. The requirements of different application areas carry a balanced product program.

Cam Roller Ways
The cam follower guidings consist of profiled rails with surface-layer hardened and grinded steel linear ways and casings with four profiled cam followers. The rail is manufactured from a high strength aluminium alloy, with integrated (rolled) hardened steel shafts.

High Performance Linear Rail Guiding Systems
Linearways are precisely linear motion rolling guides consisting of a casing and a track rail. Inside of the casing are the rolling elements (balls or rollers), the liners and retainers of the rolling elements, the cages and the seals arranged. Stainless, coated or made from conventional carbon steel series from 1-125 mm are available.

Low Cost Linear Rail Guiding Systems
Low cost linear rail guiding systems are a cost-effective alternative to the high performance linear rail guiding systems. Application areas, where these guiding systems are already successfully installed, are e.g. semiconductor equipment, engineering, robotics, fixture construction, tools, consumer electronics computer periphery devices.
