The LMS V series has been specially designed for vertical applications (Z-axes) and for moving small to medium loads. The compact and inherently rigid design ensures permanently high positioning accuracies even with forced dynamics.

The desired position can be reliably maintained without a powered motor through the optional use of weight balancing and an integrated holding brake.

Due to the optimised design and the wide range of options, coupled with a variety of performance classes, the LMS V series is technically and economically ideal for applications in automation technology, general mechanical and plant engineering, clean room applications in the semiconductor, electronics and pharmaceutical industries as well as printing and textile industry applications, transfer systems and packaging machines.
